SALMAN KHAN HOUSE FIRING CASE: FAMILY OF ACCUSED ANUJ THAPAN ALLEGES MURDER BY MUMBAI POLICE

Anuj Thapan, aged 23, was accused of supplying guns to the shooters involved in the firing incident. Recently, he was reported to have died while in custody, allegedly by suicide. However, the family of the deceased has accused the Mumbai police of turning what they claim to be a murder into a suicide. According to ANI, Abhishek Thapan, the brother of the deceased accused, stated, “Anuj was taken by the Mumbai Police from Sangrur 6-7 days ago. Today, we received a call that Anuj had committed suicide.” He further asserted that Anuj was not the type of person who would have taken his own life. Abhishek claimed, “He was not the kind who could have committed suicide. He was murdered by the police. We want justice. He worked as a truck helper.” Thapan’s family is now demanding justice, asserting their belief that foul play was involved in Anuj’s death.

Thapan, aged 23, reportedly worked as a truck cleaner and was associated with gangster Lawrence Bishnoi’s gang. According to reports, he carried weapons as instructed by the gangster. The Mumbai Police Crime Branch recovered the pistols used during the firing from the Tapi river. Along with the pistols, 17 live bullets were also found. The firing incident outside Salman Khan’s house occurred on Monday, April 14, around 5 am. CCTV footage captured the two shooters opening fire outside Galaxy Apartment in Mumbai.
