Dia Mirza’s son, Avyaan Azaad, turned three on Tuesday, surrounded by his mother’s friends, including actors Soha Ali Khan and Neha Dhupia. Dia organized a jungle-themed birthday party for her son in the garden of their Mumbai apartment.
Dia and her friends took to social media to share images from the celebration. Dia posted some joyous snapshots of her son on his third birthday.
Dia embraced motherhood in 2021 after marrying Vaibhav Rekhi. However, Avyaan’s birth was challenging as he arrived three months prematurely. He was diagnosed with necrotizing enterocolitis and underwent life-saving surgery. Avyaan spent 90 days in the NICU before Dia could bring him home. In addition to Avyaan, Dia is also co-parenting Vaibhav’s daughter, Samaira, from his previous marriage.
