Directed by debutant filmmaker Rishab Seth, “Cash” presents a humorous take on one of the most significant events in recent Indian history. The screenplay is filled with witty puns, clever gags, and biting sarcasm, drawing laughs from the audience. The film benefits from a talented young cast who embody ambitious, street-smart characters unafraid to take risks for quick profits. However, the storyline feels stretched at times, with an abundance of characters and conflicts.

Amol Parashar delivers another standout performance as the daring Arman, whose relentless drive to launch new ventures is admirable. Kavin Dave provides solid support as Vivek, while Smriti Kalra makes a confident debut as Neha, a woman adept at navigating a male-dominated environment. Gulshan Grover adds to the entertainment with his portrayal of the comically menacing politician.
Despite its humorous approach, “Cash” fails to delve deeply into the serious implications of demonetization. The film’s songs are forgettable and contribute to its runtime without adding much value.
In summary, “Cash” offers a refreshing perspective on a significant economic event, albeit with a focus on entertainment rather than serious commentary. Director Rishab Seth provides enough amusing moments to keep audiences engaged, making it a worthwhile investment of time.
