Binny And Family – Har Generation Kuch Kehta Hai beautifully encapsulates the essence of familial love within a heartwarming and relatable narrative. The film explores the common theme of the conflict between traditional values and modern lifestyles, summed up well by its tagline: “Old-fashioned values versus modern ideas!” Directed by Ssanjay Tripaathy, the storytelling is crisp and direct, offering a drama that, despite its predictability, succeeds in evoking genuine emotional moments. The first half of the film vividly captures Binny’s (Anjini Dhawan) lively life in London, filled with parties, rebellion, and the quintessential freedoms of Gen Z. However, her routine is thrown into disarray with the unexpected arrival of her grandparents from Bettiah, Bihar. Their conservative values impose restrictions that Binny finds stifling, leading to both humorous and thought-provoking generational clashes. As the narrative progresses into the latter half, it takes a more emotional turn following the loss of her grandmother.
