Bernard Hill, actor from ‘Titanic’ and ‘Lord of the Rings’, has passed away.

British actor Bernard Hill, renowned for his performances in James Cameron’s Titanic (1997) and the Lord of the Rings trilogy, passed away on Sunday.

Actor and singer Barbara Dickson confirmed the news on the social media platform X. “It is with great sadness that I announce the passing of Bernard Hill. We collaborated on John Paul George Ringo and Bert, Willy Russell’s marvelous show from 1974 to 1975. He was truly a remarkable actor. It was an honor to have worked alongside him,” she wrote.

Hill portrayed the roles of Captain Edward Smith in Titanic and King Théoden in the Lord of the Rings trilogy.
