Anushka Sharma came back to India from London, bringing along her daughter Vamika and newborn son, Akaay.
Bollywood actress Anushka Sharma has returned to India with her children, introducing her newborn son Akaay Kohli to the paparazzi at the airport. While she gave a glimpse of Akaay, she kindly asked photographers not to snap pictures of him or their daughter Vamika.
This news was shared by celebrity photographer Viral Bhayani on his Instagram account. Bhayani’s post revealed that Anushka even invited the paparazzi for a future gathering, where she would be willing to pose for photos.
Anushka and her husband, cricketer Virat Kohli, welcomed their son Akaay in February 2024 in London. Initially opting for privacy during her second pregnancy, they later announced Akaay’s birth through a heartfelt message to their fans.
This isn’t the first time the couple has sought privacy for their children. Anushka has previously spoken out against media outlets and photographers for sharing unauthorized images of their daughter Vamika. Reports suggest that Anushka and Virat may even be contemplating a permanent move to London to offer their children a life away from constant media attention.
On the professional front, Virat is currently participating in IPL 2024 with Royal Challengers Bangalore. Meanwhile, Anushka was last seen in Zero, released in 2018. She made a cameo appearance in Netflix’s Qala last year. Following Vamika’s birth, she was filming for Chakda Xpress, slated for release on Netflix. However, due to creative divergences and budgetary issues, the production company and streaming giant reportedly terminated their collaboration.
