In today’s (June 1) episode, Anuj prepares to leave for India. Meanwhile, the Shahs are busy with Titu and Dimpy’s wedding preparations.
Anupamaa, June 1, 2024 episode: The episode begins with Anuj packing his bags and selecting clothes. He looks for Anupama’s assistance and opinion, imagining her helping him in his dream. He asks if she missed her flight. Anupama responds that since she never left his heart, she can’t leave his life.
Anuj questions Anupama why she didn’t understand him five years ago when he and Aadhya needed her the most, struggling to control his emotions. As Anuj anticipates meeting Anupama at Titu and Dimpy’s wedding, she reminds him of his impending marriage with Shruti. Anuj then realizes it was just a dream.
The Shahs await Titu’s arrival
Kinjal and Kavya are busy preparing for Titu and Dimpy’s first ritual, while Leela teases them for staying up late. Vanraj brings turban cloth for everyone, and they help each other tie it.
Dimpy, getting ready for the day, grows tense when Titu doesn’t answer her calls. As she steps out, she overhears the family discussing Titu not responding to their calls. Leela mentions that she had clearly told Titu about the early morning muhurat, yet he still hasn’t shown up.
As the Shahs’ concerns about Titu’s whereabouts grow, he finally arrives. He recalls a car incident and contemplates confessing the truth to Dimpy. Vanraj asks him to tie the turban. Dimpy misses Anupama, but Hasmukh assures everyone that Anupama will come. Leela explains the rituals.
Yashdeep refuses to let go of his restaurant
Yashdeep gazes anxiously at the restaurant. Unexpectedly, he encounters Gulati, who tries to make Yashdeep feel remorseful about his decision to give partnership to Anupama. He asserts that after ruining the cafe, she has gone to enjoy the wedding. Additionally, Gulati expresses his desire to acquire Yashdeep’s restaurant to open his own eatery under his name.
Yashdeep asserts that he treats his restaurant like a temple and has no intention of selling it. He remains determined to uncover the person behind the conspiracy to defame their cafe. Despite Gulati’s attempts to dissuade him, Yashdeep remains resolute about reopening his restaurant and welcoming loyal customers once again.
Titu make efforts to confess truth to Dimpy
While writing cards, Vanraj inquires about whom they should give cards to for Titu’s family. Hasmukh suggests that kids will come from his side, much to the children’s delight. Leela informs the Shahs about the kankotri ritual and urges Mahi, Ansh, Ishani, and Pari to perform it on Titu’s behalf.
Invoking Lord Ganesh’s blessings for the new couple, Leela requests to light the ceremonial lamp. Meanwhile, Titu questions Dimpy about why she didn’t answer his calls. Dimpy explains she was occupied. Titu urgently asks Dimpy to meet him at night to discuss something important.
During wedding preparations, Vanraj notices Titu appearing despondent, a sentiment Leela concurs with. Kinjal and Kavya speculate that he might be nervous and missing his parents.
Titu rushes to Dimpy, expressing his desire to share something about his past that he had wanted to disclose earlier. Vanraj observes Titu and Dimpy’s absence and goes to check on them. Dimpy questions Titu about whether he likes someone else.
Titu denies it and requests Dimpy to hear him out before jumping to conclusions. Dimpy refuses to listen, and Vanraj intervenes, scolding both Titu and Dimpy and questioning their decency. Dimpy storms off, and Titu expresses frustration, fearing that his revelation might derail his plans.
Anupama lands in India
Pari relishes being with her family in India and urges Kinjal to stay. Kinjal reminds Pari of her job in the US, and Pari points out her schooling commitments. Paritosh supports Pari, promising to enroll her in an Indian school. Kinjal grows angry, questioning Paritosh about her own aspirations. Paritosh suggests she can avoid working if she stays in India, sparking an argument. Kinjal decides to return to America with Pari after the wedding.
Shruti presents a gift for Titu and Dimpy’s wedding, inviting Anuj to accompany her. Anuj agrees but excuses himself from Shruti when Aadhya calls, leaving Shruti concerned about the potential revival of Anuj’s feelings for Anupama.
Guest ladies bring sweets, alluding to Anupama’s restaurant controversy by mentioning the absence of insects. Kinjal defends Anupama, urging them not to judge without knowing the truth.
Leela informs them that Anupama won’t attend the wedding as they have severed ties with her. Meanwhile, Anupama’s flight lands, and she exits the airport, chanting “Jai Hind.” Determined to create good memories, she encourages herself to smile.
