In a recent interview on Jio Cinema’s Dhawan Karenge, Bollywood actor Akshay Kumar showered praise on his wife, Twinkle Khanna, lauding her intellect and dedication. He credited Twinkle for their daughter’s intelligence, highlighting Twinkle’s academic achievements, including completing her master’s degree and currently pursuing a PhD.
Akshay emphasized the stark contrast between his own hardworking nature and Twinkle’s intellectual prowess, expressing gratitude for having her as a life partner and mother to their children, Aarav and Nitaara. Reflecting on their life in London, Akshay shared admiration for Twinkle’s approach to life and her continuous pursuit of knowledge, even at the age of 50. He expressed his admiration for her as both a wife and mother, underscoring the importance of finding the right partner in life for a fulfilling existence.
The actor vividly portrayed their life in London, detailing his daily routine while humorously downplaying his own educational background. He quipped, “There will be few people like me. When I go to London, I drop my daughter at school, my son at the university, and finally my wife at her university. Then, like an ‘anpadh’, I return home and watch cricket all day.” Twinkle recently completed her master’s degree from the University of London.
Despite his desire to further his education, Akshay confessed he can’t bring himself to study, joking that he starts crying at the sight of books. Shikhar Dhawan teased that while Twinkle has devoured every book in the library, Akshay can’t manage to read any. Akshay attributed this to his childhood interests, noting, “My parents understood I was zero in studies and they pushed me towards sports.”
On the professional front, Akshay recently appeared in the film “Bade Miyan Chote Miyan” alongside Tiger Shroff.
