Just recently, the actor penned a heartfelt note of gratitude as he bid farewell to the show after four years of dedicated work.

Aashish, also known as Toshu, shared a series of behind-the-scenes photos from the sets of Anupamaa alongside his co-stars, accompanied by a lengthy message. Reflecting on his journey on the show under Rajan Shahi’s guidance, he expressed, “It was a truly beautiful journey… Nearly four years as your ‘Toshu’ in Anupamaa.”

The actor also juxtaposed his character in the show with his real-life persona, noting the stark contrast and the resulting challenge and enjoyment it brought to his experience. He elaborated, “It’s been one heck of a roller coaster ride… But what a ride!!!”

Expanding on his character’s arc, he emphasized Toshu’s evolution from a college topper and MBA gold medalist to the beloved eldest son of the family. He also mentioned that, in the show, he portrayed the role of a loving brother and a comedic property dealer. His character faced a setback after suffering from a stroke and becoming bedridden. He expressed a deep emotional connection to Toshu’s love for his father, which often brought tears to his eyes instantly. Overall, he found his character entertaining as he endeavored to add spice to the show. He remarked, “It’s all so overwhelming.”

The 34-year-old actor also counted his blessings, acknowledging the people he encountered on this journey who would remain lifelong companions, as well as the audience. Concluding his note of gratitude, he wrote, “Thank you for expressing your dislike towards me so intensely that I could feel your love and connection with me always.”

While announcing his departure, it seems that the actor has already secured his next project. Towards the end of his caption, he assured his fans of his imminent return, whether in a fictional or non-fictional setting. He stated, “You guys will see me soon in some other avatar or perhaps as my authentic self.”
