The Whistleblower Story :-
“Any show juggling multiple relationship dynamics faces the dual challenge of opportunity and balance. While it can explore various narratives, some characters may suffer from lack of development or become overshadowed by others. This is evident in ‘With Love,’ an Amazon Prime Video rom-com series by Gloria Calderón Kellett (‘One Day at a Time’).

Spanning five episodes, each centered on a different holiday, the series follows four interconnected couples within the Diaz family. While the portrayal of the family, especially the older couple, is refreshing, the execution of certain relationships falls short.
The series shines brightest in its depiction of two queer couples: Jorge Jr. and Sol, and Jorge Jr. and Henry. Their natural chemistry and the evolution of their relationships offer a refreshing take, particularly in the representation of trans characters.
However, the portrayal of Lily and Santiago’s relationship lacks depth and coherence. Their dynamic feels forced, with little meaningful interaction until a late-stage argument, making it hard to invest in their storyline. Moreover, Lily’s chemistry with another character further undermines the central romance.
In summary, while ‘With Love’ succeeds in portraying certain relationships authentically, others suffer from underdevelopment and lackluster execution.”
